I am an incoming Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Northwestern University (starting September 2026), advised by Professor Nikos Hardavellas and Professor Kaitlin Smith. I collaborate with SQMS (Superconducting Quantum Materials and Systems Center), Fermilab.
My research interests are compilers, algorithms, and infrastructure for fault-tolerant quantum computing, quantum error correction, and quantum control, with a focus on 3D superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) cavity bosonic mode qudits. At SQMS, I have worked on calibrating SRF cavities and qubits with Quantum Machines control systems and on exposing the Novera Rigetti QPU as a cloud-accessible resource.
I hold a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa, both 110/110 summa cum laude. My master’s thesis, carried out at SQMS, Fermilab, covered an FPGA-based superconducting qubit readout and control system and a pulse sequencer.
You can find more detail on my background on the CV page, and a selection of my work on the projects page. Feel free to reach out by email.
