First post on the Quantum Machines company blog

I recently published my first post on the Quantum Machines company blog. The piece looks at calibration as a key bottleneck to scaling quantum systems: as hardware moves beyond single qubits toward qudits and cavity-based architectures, calibration can no longer be a manual, one-off process — it needs to become automated and reproducible.

The work grew out of my time at Fermilab’s SQMS Center and continues to inform my ongoing Ph.D. research at Northwestern, where I’m exploring the interface between quantum hardware and software.

Thank you to Silvia Zorzetti for her mentorship, to Anna Grassellino for the opportunity to work at SQMS, and to the Quantum Machines team and my SQMS colleagues for their support on this work.
